What a historic day it was in our country yesterday. I am so proud to be one of the over 62 million Americans who voted for CHANGE in our country.
UPDATE: I have been scanning some of my usual quilting/knitting/crafting blogs and frankly I am shocked, disturbed and offended by some of the venom that I have come across in a few of them. Enough said.

I have hope that Obama can bring the world more together!
It was so nice to see so many people VOTED! My daughters first times, and they were so excited to do it.
I, too, have been surprised at the virulent posts on some blogs. There have been a couple that I have just stopped reading during this election because of it. So sad that their glass is half empty rather than half full.
Paula said it exactly. Yep, some blogs were deleted from my list--I don't need to read that stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next, that's for sure!
